Darley’s
Steeped in history, Darley’s Restaurant is set in the heritage listed, original homestead of Frederick Darley, the sixth Chief Justice of NSW and is a tribute to a bygone era.
Modern Australian cuisine is served in a romantic space that features beautiful stained glassed windows, original ornate fire places, crystal chandeliers and offers guests a breathtaking view of the surrounding gardens and the Jameson Valley.
Adjoining the main dining room, there are two individually decorated private dining rooms which capture an intimate sense of privacy - perfect for a special event or celebration.
Darley’s was recently named ‘Regional Restaurant of the Year’ at the 2010 Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Awards and has two chef’s hat.
The extensive wine list offers vintage wine sourced locally from Mudgee and Orange as well as wines from other top Australian wineries and a selection of international wines.
Darley's dedicated team serves dinner from 6.30pm from Monday to Saturday.
The Orangery
The Orangery is a celebration of regional comfort food. Open seven days for a full breakfast service, the casual dining venue also offers an early dinner sitting from 6.00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Last orders will be taken at 8.30pm.
Located of Lilianfels’ main lobby, morning sun fills the cheery restaurant, creating a pleasant setting for guests to relax and enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast.
Those that have worked up an appetitie from an invigorating bushwalk or afternoon mountain bike ride will relish Chefs’ dinner menu. Fresh seasonal produce takes centre stage in hearty hotpots and favourites such as slow cooked tomato and Jannei goats cheese tart.
The Orangery also specialises in sweet treats from homemade scones to lemon meringue tarts and dainty cupcakes.
The Lounge
The Lounge invites guests to relax in plush Victorian armchairs, curl up by the fireplace with a book, or simply gaze out over the spectacular views of the Jamison Valley. Afternoon tea is served in grand tradition daily and a stylish mahogany bar is the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks.
The Lounge offers all day dining from 10.00am to 10.00pm, sumptuous afternoon teas and refreshments served both inside and outside in the adjoining garden.
High Tea
It’s teatime in the Mountains and the famous Lilianfels High Tea - a triple-tiered plate with delicious finger sandwiches, dainty cakes and light fresh scones with clotted cream and homemade jam - is being served in The Lounge.
This is the beating heart of the hotel, where a warm welcome awaits everyone, whether you are here for business, leisure, or just pure pleasure.
A selection of afternoon teas are available daily from 12.00pm to 6.00pm. Everything from Devonshire Tea with home made fruit scones with jam and double cream to High Tea served with a glass of Champagne.
The Spa
The Spa at Lilianfels is a sacred space of care and serenity. The spa includes four private treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure stations, an extensive gymnasium, heated indoor pool and the spectacular infinity edge heated outdoor pool.
Offering the exquisite spa brand, Payot, a treatment at Lilianfels' Spa is sheer luxury. For those wishing to completely unwind, Payot’s Perfect Package combines a warm mineral bath, full body massage, exfoliation and body wrap featuring gemstone balm and precious oils. A unique spa highlight is Poultice Therapy, Lilianfels signature treatment.
